The OU Athletics Department sponsors 21 varsity sports with more than 600 student-athletes. OU students are admitted free to all sports except football and men's basketball. Show up, show your official student ID, and support the Sooners.

Intramural Sports
The University of Oklahoma has one of the most active intramural programs in the country, logging more than 30,000 participations per year. Whether you enjoy structured leagues or informal activities, this is the place for you. The mission of the program is to provide exercise, recreation, competition, and fun to all participants and employees in a relaxed, yet structured environment.
Fine Arts District
A wide variety of concerts are offered throughout the year with free or discounted tickets for students. Performance areas include drama, dance, musical theater, opera, stage theater, and music concerts.
Oklahoma City
Oklahoma City offers all of the culture, cuisine, attractions, and amenities you’d expect in a modern metropolis. And with its rugged Western past, working stockyards, and title as “Horse Show Capital of the World,” it's rich in cowboy culture as well. From family fun to outdoor adventures you won’t find anywhere else, Oklahoma City has plenty of hustle without all the hassle.
Oklahoma City Thunder
The Oklahoma City Thunder is Oklahoma's National Basketball Association (NBA) team. Many OU students love to attend games at the Chesapeake Energy Arena to cheer on the team.
Bricktown
Bricktown is the perfect place to spend a Friday or Saturday evening. Enjoy tons of different places to eat, a bowling alley, movie theatre, and a fantastic walk by the water.
