Appointments and walk-ins
To meet with your advisor, make an appointment by calling our office or by using iAdvise. You can come to the ISS office any time without setting an appointment in advance.
- To use iAdvise, login to iadvise.ou.edu/iss and select your advisor. You will see a calendar with your advisor's available appointments, and you can select an appointment time and an appointment method (in-person, phone, or Zoom).
When you come to ISS for your appointment, please check in at the front desk.
- When you check in at the front desk, we will check your advisor's availability and schedule your walk-in appointment. If your advisor is not available and your situation is urgent, you may be able to meet with a different advisor.
- For the health and safety of the OU community, students are strongly encouraged to wear masks when meeting with their advisors, who will also be masked. If you prefer not to wear a mask or are otherwise unable to do so, please schedule a phone/Zoom appointment with your advisor.
Document Processing Time
The normal document processing time for all student requests is 5-10 business (working) days*.
*Note: Newly admitted students have a 2 day delay before processing can begin.
Drop off your I-20 or DS-2019 during our office hours or request a Replacement I-20/DS-2019 for travel in the Forms section. Travel signatures are processed within our normal processing time, except in true emergency situations.
