The MAIR program offers courses in multiple formats: live, online, and hybrid courses. While the variety of course formats provides flexibility to students, MAIR degree-seeking students will be required to complete at least two in-person courses. We strongly encourage students to complete this requirement early, particularly if they know they will be deployed or moving during the course of their degree.
The MAIR program is pleased to offer a wide spectrum of courses. However, not every course listed will be offered at every site. Students are encouraged to consult the PACS’s Schedule and Syllabi information for yearly course offerings.
The MAIR program provides a broad international relations education that draws on the expertise of a large group of professors. Students benefit most from the program by seeking out instruction from a variety of professors and exposure to diverse ideas and topics. To ensure this takes place, students may not complete and may not include on their Program of Study more than 3 courses taught by any single professor.
All MAIR courses are title-specific. Some courses have the same course number. Only the course titles listed on the MAIR website are accepted for the MAIR degree.
