Tenure and Promotion
The Center for Faculty Excellence provides resources and support for faculty preparing for their tenure and promotion. CFE maintains sample tenure dossiers that can be accessed by appointment, consultations with team members for tenure and promotion questions, and facilitates the annual tenure and promotion workshop each Spring.
Tenure and Promotion Workshop
The Tenure and Promotion Workshop will take place on Saturday, February 27 from 9am-12pm. This workshop will provide an overview of the steps in the tenure and promotion process, the contents of the dossier, and other matters relating to assembling your materials and choosing your external references. In addition, recently tenured faculty from the STEM, social sciences, professional programs, humanities, and fine arts will meet with faculty from these respective disciplines to answer any additional questions you might have about the process and experience. While this workshop is open to any pre-tenure faculty, it is especially helpful for faculty who will be undergoing review within the next two to three years.
For access to the workshop recordings, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
