Yuanyuan Yang, Ph.D., MSW, MPA, is an Assistant Professor at the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma. Drawing on an interdisciplinary background in social work, public policy, and data science, Dr. Yang integrates advanced statistical modeling and data science approaches to investigate how economic determinants and family dynamics jointly influence child development.

Dr. Yang's current work applies a multi-level systems framework to understand how household and community economic factors interact to affect child and family well-being and to inform policy strategies that support healthy child and family development. She collaborates with nonprofit and academic partners in the United States and abroad, and is committed to advancing data-driven social work research and building community partnerships that translate research findings into practice.
