Valerie Butler-McDaniel is an Instructor and Faculty Field Liaison for the University of Oklahoma. She mentors/teaches students to enhance their practicum experience. Valerie McDaniel is an LCSW and worked in social work for 26 years in child welfare, juvenile justice, k-12 education, higher education and private practice. Her passion is helping students be academically successful by bringing awareness to the impact of mental health on the ability to learn and help students and their support systems self-regulate.
