Nic’s clinical work has focused mainly on child and adolescent mental health in an outpatient setting, with much of the work being done within schools and a local community mental health clinic.  He spent 9 years with Family & Children’s Services (F&CS) as a therapist and clinical supervisor, with a focus on trauma, suicide prevention, and psychotherapy with children, adolescents, and their families.  He continues to provide licensure supervision for new therapists seeking licensure employed by the agency.  During his time at F&CS, Nic also continued to provide program evaluations with local organizations, such as the Parent Child Center of Tulsa and Fab Lab Tulsa, with the latter resulting in an international presentation at the Fab10 international conference in Barcelona in 2014. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, as well as various presentations both nationally and internationally.
