Marcus L. Jones is an online instructor in the MSW program. Prior to joining the faculty at the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work, he served the last 18 years in Child Welfare Services and most recently as a District Director. He specialized in human services management and staff development of employees serving children and families impacted by abuse and/or neglect. Marcus has experience working as a Medical Social Worker and provided discharge services to patients and their families. He is a certified by the Multi-Cultural Institute as a cultural competence facilitator and enjoys conducting training workshops on diversity/inclusion and cultural sensitivity.
Marcus is passionate about learning and teaching and relishes empowering others with knowledge and understanding. He also enjoys spending time with his family and watching OU and Dallas Cowb
