Kirby Cannon is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker from Moore, Oklahoma. Prior to joining the faculty at the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work, she practiced in the field for 8 years. During this time, she specialized in clinical practice with children and their families. She has obtained National Certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and National Certification in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy. Kirby has also received extensive training in suicide intervention for children and adults and served as a Senior Supervisor in the triage department of a community mental health center. Additionally, Kirby has experience working with adults who are experiencing homelessness and individuals who have been frequently hospitalized for mental health needs. 

Kirby is passionate about leadership and enjoys helping others develop into their potential. She believes in seeing the best in people and loves motivating others. Kirby loves spending time with her family and dog.
