Jennifer Dell has over fifteen years of professional experience working with children, youth and families. She is dually licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She received her undergraduate degree from Saint Louis University with a double major in Psychology and English. After working for two years at a residential substance abuse program she began the part-time MSW program at the University of Oklahoma allowing her to continue working in a direct practice setting with youth with substance use disorders.   Jennifer completed her MSW with a focus in Administration and Community Practice in 2008.  She worked for the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for fifteen years in both direct practice and administrative roles. Her direct service experience includes serving as a counselor in multiple levels of care including inpatient substance abuse treatment, co-occurring residential treatment, and as the led clinician on an adolescent crisis unit. She has served as the Project Director for a number of large federal grants and as the Systems of Care Manager of Youth and Family Services and Supports. She was part of the 2013 Disaster Response team following the tornados that devastated multiple parts of Oklahoma.  Jennifer is a state trainer for a variety of evidenced based practices and other programs including Mental Health First Aid, Celebrating Families Programs, and the Young Professional Leadership Training.

Jennifer has served as a Community Faculty member since 2017 and is thrilled to be expanding her role at the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work as the Undergraduate Coordinator.
