Charlotte Kendrick has over 17 years of social work experience in child welfare, medical casework with program and management experience as well. She began her social work career as a child welfare worker with Child Welfare Services at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS), leaving for a time to work as a medical social worker and then manager of Social Services at OU Medical Center. She returned to DHS as Program Administrator of Prevention Services for Child Welfare Services.

 She has been a member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) since 1998 and has served in various capacities on the NASW Oklahoma Chapter board both as a student and professional. She was an active member of The University of Oklahoma School of Social Work Board of Visitors for 6 years and continues as an emeritus board member.

Over the years, she has guided numerous social work practicum students and licensee candidates as they continued their education and furthered their own professional development. Ms. Kendrick teaches LMSW and LCSW Exam Preparation classes for the School of Social work and became a Community Faculty member in 2017.
