Alicia joined the University of Oklahoma School of Social Work in November 2017. As a Student Support Specialist in the Field Education office, she serves as a key point of contact for students entering practicum as well as for community agencies partnering with the school. Her role allows her to collaborate closely with faculty, staff, students, and organizations across Norman and Oklahoma City.

Passionate about leadership development, Alicia has held numerous roles within both the university and the broader community, preparing students not only for internships but also for leadership roles within organizations. Two of her most impactful experiences include coaching middle school volleyball—where she focused on development both on and off the court—and serving alongside her husband, Brian, as Faculty in Residence at Headington Hall, mentoring students and Resident Advisors in daily life.

Alicia holds a background in Fine Arts and a degree in Graphic Design. In her free time, she enjoys creating digital and hand-drawn art, often designing playful postcards for friends. She is an avid supporter of OU’s arts and athletic programs, especially cheering on her two favorite Sooners—her husband Brian and their daughter Avery, a current OU student.
