Name the SLIS Newsletter Contest

The OU SLIS Communication Committee would like to ask for your help in suggesting a new name for the school newsletter!

Last year the newsletter returned after a lapse in publication and was shared with the name 'State of the Stacks'. The name is clever; however, the title suggests SLIS graduates work only with books, but the careers of SLIS graduates are much broader. That's where you come in! Submit a name for the SLIS newsletter that captures the broad range of career interests and programs offered.

General guidelines for submitting a newsletter name: 

1. Name the SLIS Newsletter contest submissions will be accepted from November 7 - November 15.  
2. All submissions will be considered by the selection team.
3. The top five name submissions chosen by the selection team will be shared and voting will be open to select the top choice from November 17 - November 27. 
4. To submit your entry, complete the survey. You will be asked to share the following information: 
   1. Your name
   2. Email address
   3. Suggested newsletter name
   4. A brief statement about why you think the name you are submitting is fitting for the newsletter
5.  When the top five name submissions have been selected, voting for the top one will be done via a survey. 
   
6. The winning name will be used for the December newsletter!
