Fowler Prize
On the plaque kept in the entrance hallway of Nielson Hall, it states...
"The Fowler Pricze, established in honor of Richard G. Fowler, George Lynn Cross Research Professor. Colleague, Department Chairman, and tireless promotor of the department from 1946 to 1980; by his former students, colleagues, and alumni; given annually to the outstanding graduating senior in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Oklahoma."
