In order to be eligible for classroom teaching, international TAs must pass both written and oral examinations in English. Times and dates for these exams may be obtained from the Graduate Program Coordinator or the English Assessment Program (EAP) office located in Robertson Hall, room 201. We expect international students holding TAs to pass both written and oral exams before the beginning of their second year. See Appendix E of the Red Book for more detail (pdf).
