Bio

Abhik Kumar Saha is originally from Malda, India. He received his Ph.D in Physics under the guidance of Prof. Bimalendu Deb from Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Kolkata, India. In his Ph.D, he examined the effect of trap confinement, collective excitations such as solitons and shock waves, phase diffusion and parametric excitation in Bose-Josephson junction. After his Ph.D., Abhik continued in the Prof. Bimalendu Deb's group as a Research Associate-I for eight months. Abhik started working in the group of Prof. Bihui Zhu as a Post-doctoral researcher in August, 2023, where he will carry out theoretical research on quantum thermalization.
