I am currently a Ph.D. candidate working towards my thesis on 'Study of spatial correlations in twin beams generated via the four-wave mixing process'.
I have 10+ years of experience working in optics. As a part of research projects, some of the topics explored are non-linear optical processes, light-atom interactions, spatial and temporal correlations in classical/non-classical states of light, quantum state tomography, continuous variable entanglement, optical interferometry, the formalism of quantum mechanics, and quantum information.
In the future, I plan to explore the dynamics of massive quantum-mechanical states coupled to a bath, selectively probing them with tailored optical states to store information or gain sensing advantage beyond the standard quantum limit.
