Our Mission

We want to bring the excitement and knowledge of astronomy to communities throughout the state of Oklahoma. Through star parties, panel sessions, and demonstrations we help engage fellow Oklahomans in the wonderful world of science, all free of charge. Just contact us! We would love to come out for your next event.

We provide these educational services free to the public. We do accept donations, which help us with travel expenses and purchasing new equipment. If you are interested in giving to Lunar Sooners, you may do so through the OU Foundation website. Once on the site, under the My Gift section, type in 'Lunar Sooners' in the Search for a fund... field.
