OU Philosophy Lecturer Tyler Huismann Accepts Position at LSU

In Fall 2026, Tyler Huismann will be starting as an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Louisiana State University. Tyler is currently a Lecturer at OU, and before that received his PhD in Philosophy from the University of Colorado, Boulder (2017). Tyler works on ancient and medieval philosophy, especially on issues surrounding Aristotelian metaphysics and natural philosophy. More about him and his work can be found at tylerhuismann.com.
