OU Russian students commonly spend a semester or year in St. Petersburg, a vibrant cultural capital filled with palaces, museums, theaters, and cafes. Summer Russian programs in the U.S. and abroad are another great way to accelerate your language learning and make fast progress toward a Russian major or minor. OU students most frequently study at the Middlebury College’s Davis School of Russian or the Indiana University Summer Language Workshop. Other programs may offer courses suitable for Russian major or minor credit at OU, and some of these may offer scholarships. If you find a program that appeals to you, please discuss it with the Russian advisor before enrolling.
