Reinaldo Cortes-Quantip has undergraduate studies in Mass Communication and Media Studies, and master’s degree in Political Science from the University of the Andes, Venezuela. Prior his doctoral studies in the University of Oklahoma, Reinaldo Cortes-Quantip was associate professor in the Department of Communication in the University of the Andes, Venezuela. His research interests are focused in the discourse and imaginary of political violence in Latin America.
