I received my B.A. with a major in Spanish and Education and with a minor in French from Wichita State University in Kansas in 1974.
Within OU's Spanish program, I regularly teach the first three semester of the language (SPAN 1115, 1225, & 2113), and I am committed to improving my university teaching from semester to semester. I also teach Spanish as a volunteer to adults at the Stanley Rother Institute in Oklahoma City. Additionally, I help bereaved families who have lost a child, sibling, or grandchild through "The Compassionate Friends" organization, for which I was for many years the leader and now serve assisting Spanish-speaking families.
