My passion is teaching Spanish! I love to create a positive, dynamic, and engaging classroom where all learners feel valued. My teaching career began here in Norman where I taught at a middle school for 6 years. I believe teaching in the public schools was an excellent experience to learn the fundamentals of being an effective teacher. In 2005, I received the advanced teaching credential of National Board Certification in World Languages Other than English. Through this rigorous process, I learned how to evaluate my teaching goals and their effectiveness. Finally, I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach at OU for almost 17 years.
