Taylor Cozzens is a doctoral candidate (ABD) in the OU History Department. Following undergraduate studies in history and Spanish at Brigham Young University, Taylor completed a master's program in Spanish translation and interpretation at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies. He then began graduate studies in history at the University of Oklahoma (MA 2020; PhD 2020-present).
Taylor's MA thesis addressed the history of farmworkers, the War on Poverty, and environmental justice in California. His dissertation examines the history of agrarian reform and green revolution in Latin America, especially the Peruvian Andes. For this project, Taylor has received funding from the Fulbright Program, the Rockefeller Archive Center, and several departments at the University of Oklahoma.
