*Students who are already enrolled in graduate programs at OU may be admitted to the certificate as early as after completion of 1 semester of graduate work in good standing. In keeping with OU Graduate College policies, students will not be required to have a minimum GPA to declare interest in the certificate, though it is expected that successful GAS certificate graduates possess a 3.0 cumulative GPA over their graduate work.

Students seeking only the graduate certificate without pursuing an OU graduate degree will be required to have a GPA of at least 3.0 (out of 4.0), three letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose, and for international students, must meet the English requirements stated by the University of Oklahoma.
