Nix Miranda is a certified self-mastery life coach with a B.A. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Educational Psychology, both from the University of Oklahoma. Her graduate research addressed the influence of beliefs about knowledge, learning goals, and motivation on academic performance. She has taught a variety of undergraduate psychology courses including general psychology, developmental, cognitive, and statistics as well as GED prep courses for students experiencing socioeconomic challenges. Courses she has designed while working as an Instructional Designer include Lifespan Development, Psychology, and AP Psychology.
Miranda is currently studying for her Ph.D. and is interested in furthering her research on the influence of healthy versus maladaptive behaviors in achievement/success.
