The Macromolecular Crystallography Laboratory (MCL) is part of the NIH sponsored Oklahoma Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (CoBRE) in Structural Biology (OCSB) located in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Oklahoma - Norman Research Campus. The lab provides the necessary resources for structure determination of macromolecules. Services range from conducting initial crystallization trials to single crystal x-ray diffraction and structure determination of macromolecular molecules (proteins and nucleic acids). We provide help and guidance from initial crystallization trials to a completed structure for internal and external research groups.
The MCL is supported by a combination of funding from the National Science Foundation, NIH-CoBRE through the Oklahoma Center of Biomedical Research Excellence (CoBRE) in Structural Biology (OCSB), Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry OU-Norman and user fees.
Defrayal of user fees is available through the OCSB. In order for your project to be considered for fee deferral please download and submit the following form below.
