I am Yuheng Hu, currently pursuing a PhD in the Chemistry and Biochemistry Department at the University of Oklahoma, in my first year, first semester. I am starting my first lab rotation in Prof. Valentin V. Rybenkov's lab. With a background in microbiology, I am eager to combine this knowledge with biochemistry to conduct meaningful research.
My interest in chemistry stems from my admiration for the fictional character Sherlock Holmes, whose expertise in chemistry sparked my passion for the field.
Outside of academics and research, my interests include playing video games (such as Valorant and Steam games), traveling, and listening to music.
