My freshman biology teacher really inspired my love for life sciences and the inner workings of cells, and I’ve been pursuing biochemistry ever since.
I work in the Rajan lab studying the process of Adaptation in CRISPR-Cas systems.
My plans post-grad are to work in industry in a benchtop position before hopefully moving to management. I am keeping my options open, and plan to look at adjunct teaching positions as well.
