For me, chemistry was the umbrella science that linked the fascinating beauty of physics and math to the life of biology.
I am currently a Ph.D. Candidate under the guidance of Dr. Yihan Shao. My research is on computational modeling of biomolecular systems with a focus in enzymatic reactions (CRISPR-Cas, I-PpoI, etc.), membrane simulations (pHLIP), and small-molecule discovery for neurodegenerative diseases.
After graduation, I would like to save the world.
