My research endeavors are centered on the intricate fields of drug design, discovery, and modification, with an overarching objective to contribute significantly towards the availability of functional, cost-effective pharmaceuticals and therapeutic substances. My current work involves the characterization, modification, expression, and purification of novel enzymes within natural product biosynthetic pathways. This effort is aimed at producing chemically and structurally diverse therapeutic products, demonstrating the potential to address a myriad of health challenges.
Upon completing my academic program, my aspiration is to transition into a role within a pharmaceutical company, where I can continue to apply and expand my expertise in drug development. Through this endeavor, I aim to bridge the gap between innovative research and the practical implementation of new, life-saving medications.
