My name is Miguel Alessandro Liuzzi Vaamonde. I am from Caracas, Venezuela. I graduated from Austin College in Texas. During my bachelor’s degree, I worked as a research fellow under Prof. Bradley Smucker for 3 years culminating my efforts into a thesis work studying the design and assembly of Pt(II)-based Metal-Organic Cages. My passion for inorganic and material chemistry led me to pursue research in the academic field, and I have started my Ph.D. journey at the University of Oklahoma.
