Growing up I was always encouraged to be interested in science, and more specifically chemistry. When the time came to selecting a major for my undergraduate work, I simply chose chemistry and never changed.
I work with Dr. Si Wu and my research is focused on utilizing hydrogen-deuterium exchange mass spectrometry (HDX-MS) for probing protein-protein interactions.
After graduation, my plans are to perform bioanalytical research at a governmental, industrial, or academic institution.
