Professional Experience

After completing his undergraduate studies in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Dr. Naistat came to the US to pursue a doctoral degree. He has worked at different institutions, such as the University of Miami, the College of William & Mary, Eastern Illinois University, James Madison University and the University of Minnesota. His research areas include Alzheimer’s disease, Green Chemistry and occupational hazards in a laboratory setting. Dr. Naistat is passionate about teaching as he found his calling at a very young age. He aims to remove the “fear” in his students' eyes when they take any of his Chemistry courses. Chemistry can be challenging and intimidating but very interesting as it is really embedded in our daily lives.
