On the evening of Thursday, April 3, Zarrow Hall was filled with enthusiasm as more than 60 students, joined by several faculty members, gathered for the Chemistry Spring Social—a lively kickoff event for the newly forming Chemistry Club. Attendees enjoyed pizza, games, and fun chemistry-themed prizes, creating an engaging and collaborative atmosphere.
During the event, students discussed the development of the club, leadership opportunities, and future goals, expressing strong enthusiasm for building a community around chemistry. Faculty members were present to offer support, fostering connections between students and academic mentors.
The evening featured interactive activities, including a “get-to-know-each-other” bingo game and a chemistry trivia challenge, where participants tested their knowledge of fascinating chemistry facts for prizes.
