It is with great fondness and appreciation that I reflect upon the excellent graduate education I received from the Department of Anthropology at OU. My faculty mentors, Betty Harris, John Moore, Joseph Whitecotton, Steve Thompson and Richard Pailes, challenged and mentored me as I pursued an M.A. and a Ph.D. in cultural anthropology. Importantly, what I took away from my studies at OU not only proved to be vital to my subsequent career opportunities but remains relevant in the world in which we live. I could not have chosen a better place to study than OU.

The education and incredible mentorship I received made me who I am today. I am forever grateful.
