Tuition and fees listed below have been approved for the Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and Summer 2025 academic year. Upcoming academic years’ rates will be posted as they are approved.

Undergraduate students who enroll full-time (12 or more credit hours for fall and spring semesters) are charged a flat rate for tuition and some fees. This means that whether a student is enrolled in 12, 15, or 18 hours, they will be charged the same tuition and mandatory hourly fees.

Below is a summary of what a typical first-year student might pay for a semester at OU. The estimate assumes the student is enrolled in 15 credit hours in the College of Arts & Sciences. If a student enrolls in a different number of credit hours, takes classes in a college other than Arts & Sciences, or enrolls in a course with an associated miscellaneous course fee, the total charged will be different.

Undergraduate students who enroll part-time (fewer than 12 credit hours per semester) are charged tuition and fees on an hourly basis.
Summer courses are also charged on an hourly basis. Students with banked hours for summer will not be charged tuition and mandatory hourly fees for summer courses they enroll in, up to the number of hours they have banked. College technology and program fees, and miscellaneous course fees are not included in banked hour adjustments and will be charged as normal.
