Soon-to-be A&GS grads line up to take part in the College’s annual spring Convocation.
Over 125 A&GS students earn undergraduate and graduate degrees every year.

All students entering the College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences are assigned a projected graduation date, based on the level of math completed (for students pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree), or the level of foreign language completed (for students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree).

Any A&GS student with a 3.50-3.74 OU GPA graduates with Distinction
Any A&GS student with a 3.75+ OU GPA graduates with Special Distinction

Please note that this is a projected, not a confirmed graduation date.  A&GS students who have earned at least 75 hours are strongly encouraged to schedule a Degree (Graduation) Check in the A&GS Dean's Office to confirm their remaining degree requirements and graduation date.  Please call (405) 325-3095 to schedule an appointment.

If you are pursuing a minor or second undergraduate degree outside the College of A&GS, please check with an academic counselor in that area to confirm that you have met requirements for your minor(s) or second degree.  The College of Atmospheric and Geographic Sciences is not authorized to confirm minors and majors not in the College of A&GS.

In addition to a Degree Check, students must file a graduation application with the university during their final semester at OU.  Graduation applications are available at under the Academics tab.
