Student Instagram Takeover

Follow us on social media (@go2ou) as an OU ROTC student and an OU student veteran takeover our social media accounts. Join us to hear all about their student experience and see a day in the life!

Tuesday, November 12

Veterans Education and Resource Fair

Oklahoma City Community College and the University of Oklahoma are partnering for the Second Annual Veterans Education and Resource Fair! This event is come-and-go, free, and open to all active duty military, veterans, National Guard/Reservists, military spouses and family members.

Individuals will have the opportunity to meet with two-year and four-year institutions in the state of Oklahoma, technical training schools, regional Veterans Upward Bound programs, and other community-based organizations.

Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Wednesday, November 13

OU Military Virtual Information Session

Join us virtually at 4 PM CT as we go over how to establish and use GI BillĀ® benefits, navigate residency questions, and also share on-campus support and involvement opportunities that are specifically available to military students.

Thursday, November 14

OU 1:1s

Meet with an OU Admissions Counselor one on one to discuss opportunities geared towards anyone with a military connection. Topics can include: admission to the Norman Campus, residency, utilizing educational benefits, scholarships, etc. Each meeting is 30 minutes.

Schedule with a first time freshman counselor virtually. 

Schedule with a transfer counselor virtually.

Schedule with the Veteran Success Coordinator virtually.

Friday, November 15

OU Day with ROTC

Join us on campus for an in-person event where you will go on a campus tour, meet our ROTC branches, attend information sessions, and hear from a student cadet panel! 

7:45 AM to 8:15 AM: Check-In
8:15 AM to 8:50 AM: Welcome and Keynote Speakers 
9:00 AM to 11:30 AM: Campus Tour 
11:30 AM to 12:45 PM: Lunch on your own
1:00 PM to 2:00 PM: ROTC information session of choice 
2:00 PM to 2:30 PM: Tour of ROTC Facilities
2:40 PM to 3:30 PM: Cadet panel
