Oklahoma Military Week is a week of events designed to meet the needs of military-connected individuals. Join us virtually or in-person to learn about OU, the admissions process, ROTC, scholarships, and more. Attend one day or all days! 
 

Sunday, November 5

OU Day with DODEA
If you attend high school on a U.S. Military Base abroad, OU will virtually visit at 7 p.m. your local time. You will hear from an OU admissions counselor about our admissions process, cost of attendance, scholarships, and more. We will virtually visit Guam, Japan, Korea, Bahrain, Turkey, Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, England, Puerto Rico, and Cuba.

Monday, November 6

OU Day with ROTC

Join us on campus for an in-person event where you  will go on a campus tour, meet our ROTC branches, attend information sessions and hear from a student cadet panel!

Schedule:

  • 7:45 AM - 8:15 AM: Check-In
  • 8:15 AM - 8:50 AM: Welcome and Keynote Speakers 
  • 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM: Campus Tour 
  • 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Lunch on your own
  • 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: ROTC information session of choice 
  • 2:00 PM - 2:30 PM: Tour of ROTC Facilities
  • 2:40 PM - 3:30 PM: Cadet panel

Tuesday, November 7

OU 1:1s

Meet with an OU Admissions Counselor one on one to discuss opportunities geared towards anyone with a military connection. Topics can include: admission to the Norman Campus and Professional and Continuing Studies programs, residency, utilizing educational benefits, scholarships, etc. Each meeting is 30 minutes.

ROTC Student Takeover on Instagram

Follow an OU Navy ROTC student and an OU Air Force ROTC student for a day and hear about their experience as a cadet! Make sure to follow @go2ou on Instagram. 

 

Wednesday, November 8

OU Military Virtual Information Session

Join us virtually at 4PM CT as we go over how to establish and use GI Bill® benefits, navigate residency questions, and also share on-campus support and involvement opportunities that are specifically available to military students.

Thursday, November 9

Veterans Education and Resource Fair

Oklahoma City Community College and the University of Oklahoma are partnering for the First Annual Veterans Education and Resource Fair! This event is come-and-go, free and open to all active duty military, veterans, National Guard/Reservists, military spouses and family members. Individuals will have the opportunity to meet with two-year and four-year institutions in the state of Oklahoma, technical training schools, regional Veterans Upward Bound programs, and other community-based organizations.
