As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

I was a non-traditional student and completed my undergrad through the PACS Extended Campus online program. I feel that I developed sound relationships with my instructors and fellow students even through the online medium.

Define the OU Family in your own words.

The OU Family to me is a group of people that coordinate together to create an environment that fosters individual growth and development while maintaining a positive, inclusive atmosphere.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

The moment I felt the greatest Sooner pride was when I received my acceptance letter from the university. I had dreamt of going to school and being the first of my family to graduate from college and OU helped me achieve that goal.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

Reinforcement of the importance of perseverance and hard work and the advice provided by my instructors and fellow students.

What is your favorite OU tradition?

Football, of course, but I have always enjoyed attending the Medieval Fair at Reaves Park.

What advice do you have for prospective students? 

It's gonna be tough, but it'll be worth it. Manage your time, apply for scholarships, and reach out for help when need be. Don't give up.
