Define the OU Family in your own words.

Whether it is standing together in the face of discrimination, spending a Saturday volunteering in our neighboring communities or creating organizations to help those who struggle the most, the Sooner family is sincere and caring. We participate in the Big Event, donate to the OU Food Pantry and raise money for Children’s Miracle Network. It is all about lifting each other, and our communities, up to be our best.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

When I walked into the Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium for commencement. Knowing that all of my hard work and late nights had paid off and I was going to be a Sooner for life.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

Confidence in myself. I knew that if I could graduate from OU, then I could do anything I put my mind to.

I have heard that Ellison Hall is haunted.

What is your favorite OU tradition?

Participating in the free annual 5k race that is held on campus. It is a great way to meet other students, faculty, and staff.
