As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

I was blessed to have the opportunity to be a member of the OU Coed cheer team for 5 years. I also loved getting the opportunity to serve on the executive team of my sorority, Pi Beta Phi.

Define the OU Family in your own words.

The OU family is a community built on tradition, pride, support, and a shared sense of belonging. It means creating meaningful connections, celebrating one another’s successes, and always making others feel welcome and valued.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

The moment I felt the greatest Sooner pride was walking across the stage at graduation and also having the opportunity to represent the university as a member of the OU cheer team. Being able to wear OU across my chest and earn my degree from a university I love is something I will forever be grateful for!

What was the greatest gift youtook with you after graduation?

The greatest gift I took with me after graduation was the lifelong relationships, unforgettable memories, and personal growth I experienced during my time at OU. Beyond earning my degree, OU gave me a second family, countless opportunities, and a sense of belonging that I will carry with me forever.

Reveal one secret about campus.

Don’t walk under the bell tower on campus until AFTER graduating.

What is your favorite OU tradition?

My favorite OU tradition is pregame before every home football game. The stadium is so loud and filled with so much energy. Also, singing the OU Alma Mater after every football game. Win or lose, standing alongside the Sooner family was always such a special moment that reminded me how proud I am to be a Sooner!

One piece of encouragement I’d give to a student applying to college is...

My advice to prospective students is to step outside your comfort zone, get involved, and take advantage of every opportunity that comes your way. Do not take a second for granted and have the time of your life!
