Educational Background

Bachelor of Science, Community Health - University of Oklahoma 2015
Master of Education, Sports Management - University of Kansas 2017

As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

While on campus, I was a four-year member and captain of the OU pom squad. Dance has always been and continues to be a passion of mine, so I poured a lot of time and energy into that team during my time on campus and into supporting our student-athletes. I feel really prideful in my dedication and leadership and the mark I left on that team.

Define the OU family in your own words.

The OU family is all-encompassing. You are immediately immersed in a community of students, faculty and staff that cares deeply about your success in the classroom and your success after you leave campus. It is somewhere where you can feel safe to find out not only what you want to do but who you want to be.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

There have been many moments where I felt an enormous amount of pride for my university, including when I walked across the stage at graduation, when I received my diploma and when I got my OU ring. I knew that I wanted to represent OU every day, and I wear my ring daily as a physical reminder of the hard work and resiliency it took to earn my degree.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

The greatest gift I took with me after graduation was knowing how to overcome trials and tribulations. College is full of ups and downs, not only in your academic career, but in your personal life. OU truly gave me the tools to know how to fight through difficulty and come out a better person on the other side. I left better equipped to take on the future endeavors that lay in front of me than when I came to OU.

Reveal one secret about campus.

Make friends with students of other majors so you can study with them in their buildings on campus! I know from experience that the architecture and engineering students have access to some great study space.

What is your favorite OU tradition?

Since I was a member of the OU pom squad, one of my favorite traditions is the "BOOMER SOONER" chant before kickoff of every OU football game. I also love anytime the pride of Oklahoma plays the alma mater. It never fails to bring tears to my eyes.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

My advice is to identify what your passions are and figure out how you can continue to develop those passions during your time on campus. There are so many ways to be involved, and you want to get the most out of your time at OU.
