What's your educational background?

University of Oklahoma
Bachelor of Fine Arts: Art, Technology, and Culture

As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

I enjoyed being involved on campus and making new connections. Whether it was through Big Event, Greek life, Campus Activities Council, or serving as a Small Group Leader at Camp Crimson, I enjoyed serving alongside my Sooner family.

Define the OU Family in your own words.

The OU family is more than a marketing phrase—it’s a way of life! Once you join the family, you’re a Sooner for life. You can be Sooner born and Sooner bred or a Sooner by choice. It’s about being a unified body that equips and leads the next generation while celebrating the wins along the way. To be part of the Sooner family is to have a support system behind you every step of the way.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

Volunteering at the President’s Community Scholars and President’s Leadership Class retreats has been among some of my favorite memories. Seeing the next generation of leaders learn about the University and prepare to begin their OU journey was incredibly rewarding.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

At OU, you have the opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself. The amount of knowledge and skills I gained inside and outside of the classroom was priceless.

Reveal one secret about campus.

If you’re a musician, you can get access to the piano practice rooms in the Donald W. Reynolds Performing Arts Center for a low price, even if you aren’t a music major. I enjoyed going there to play the piano during study breaks to clear my mind.

What is your favorite OU tradition?

The OU Chant is by far my favorite tradition, whether at football games, special events, or graduation. “Live on, University!”

What advice do you have for prospective students?

My best advice to students preparing to apply to college is that it’s never too early to start preparing. Diligently study and focus on academics while enjoying those last moments of high school. Research scholarships, because you never know what you may find. Tour multiple universities to see which one will be the best fit for you. And remember, be yourself!
