Define the OU family in your own words.

The OU family is kind, supportive, and helpful in every way. It’s a place where people lift each other up, encourage growth, and make everyone feel like they belong.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

 I feel the greatest Sooner pride when I see people coming together to make prospective students and their families feel welcome. Being part of that effort and knowing it makes a difference is really rewarding.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

The greatest gift I took with me after graduation was a sense of accomplishment. As a first-generation student, I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know I wouldn’t have made it without the support and encouragement of my family. I also treasure the friendships and connections I made along the way.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

 My advice for prospective students is to take your time exploring your options and asking questions. Think about the kind of environment and opportunities that will help you grow. Don’t hesitate to reach out to admissions counselors because they are here to help. Most importantly, enjoy the process and take it one step at a time.
