What's your educational background?

University of Oklahoma
Bachelor's of Arts in Public Relations
Minors in Entrepreneurship and Psychology
Class of 2021

As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

I had the honor of being a leader in several campus facets, but one specific community I feel I left the greatest impact on was serving as the co-chair for the Leadership Education and Development Team. Here we revolutionized the way students view teamwork and view themselves as we conducted personal development workshops with a multitude of student groups. I always enjoyed looking at processes differently and finding new ways to execute tasks - all while having a great time!

Define the OU Family in your own words.

The OU Family is the embodiment of the word "Champions". We are champions academically as we strive to lead our disciplines and implement innovation in all we do. We are champions on fields and courts as we reach new heights and all have a spirit of Sooner Magic within us. But ultimately, we are champions of one another. We challenge and encourage each member of our family to reach their full potential, and we will stand by one another in every high and low to ensure each of us becomes a champion in our own unique way.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

Any of the Big XII Football Championships, the 2021 Women's College World Series, or electric gymnastics meets could contend for this spot, but perhaps the moment I felt the greatest Sooner pride was my graduation day. This day is filled with reflection as you consider the things you never thought possible. I never imagined I would travel abroad, perform on a stage, or even be on a podcast, however, on my graduation day I took the time to be grateful for these experiences and the people that made them possible. In that reflection, there is tremendous pride.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

The greatest gift I received following graduation was a powerful network of individuals who greatly care for one another. I now have close relationships with people from all over the globe - unlocking an unlimited range of opportunities and adventures.

Reveal one secret about campus.

In the Switzer Center, you can take a bird's-eye-view photo of yourself standing in front of all the football trophies. Many people aren't even aware the football stadium has a public space like this, and even fewer know where to find the hidden camera...

What is your favorite OU tradition?

Aside from the incredible gameday traditions, one of my favorite OU traditions is University Sing. Since 1948, University Sing has allowed students who are not in the arts an opportunity to perform live on some of the most historic stages in Oklahoma. It is one of the most unique art forms as it is high-energy, creative, fast-paced, and completely designed and performed by students.

What advice do you have for prospective students?

Prospective Students - visit campuses in person as much as you are able. It is here you can truly picture yourself in these spaces and get real interactions with the people you will be spending the next phase of life with along with the community you are going to join. Reach out, ask questions, and never be afraid to think about the impact you could have at your university.
