What's your educational background?

Bachelor of Science in Social Studies Education
University of Oklahoma
Class of 2011

As a student, where did you leave your mark on campus?

I left my mark on campus by welcoming new freshmen every summer I was a student at OU. I worked in University College during enrollment appointments and volunteered at Camp Crimson to share the Sooner spirit, make freshmen feel welcome, and help with an easy transition to campus.

Define the OU Family in your own words.

The OU Family is full of pride. It is an instant connection with other Sooners and fans. It is the family you choose. It is being part of something much bigger than yourself.

When was the moment you felt the greatest Sooner pride?

During the graduation festivities every year, there comes the time the OU President asks everyone with a class ring to turn their ring around to signify they are now an alum. I felt so much pride knowing all I had accomplished in four years.

What was the greatest gift you took with you after graduation?

OU gave me an incredible four years of memories and friendships that have lasted long after graduation.

Reveal one secret about campus.

There are tunnels running under campus. They are said to house wiring but I know many students who have worked to try and find a way in.

What is your favorite OU tradition?

Singing the OU Chant is my favorite OU tradition. I love teaching new Sooners the chant.
