In addition to academic, merit-based scholarships awarded by the Office of Admissions & Recruitment, select academic departments and colleges offer scholarships to incoming freshmen. To be eligible, submit your admissions application and answer the optional essays by December 15. You will automatically be considered for any scholarships offered for the major you listed on your application to OU. Some scholarships require a FAFSA or auditions. All decisions are made by the academic department or college by March.
