Congratulations on your admission to the University of Oklahoma, and welcome to the class of 2029! The priority deadline to commit to OU is May 1, 2025 or within 21 days of the date of your admission, whichever is later. Visit your OU Bound portal to submit your enrollment deposit. A deposit is only required for fall freshman admitted students.
Your OU account is your key to submitting your enrollment deposit and accessing OU resources such as email, enrollment, grades, course materials, computer labs, OU Libraries resources, and more. You will also need to set up your OU account to complete your housing contract. Many OU offices will only communicate with you via your official OU email account. Please check it regularly.
To set up your account, visit one.ou.edu/activate. You'll need your OU Net ID number (4 letters and 4 numbers) to create your account. Take a moment to write this ID and your new password down. You'll use this to access all things OU!
If you need assistance, please call OU IT at 405-325-4357.

There are many benefits to submitting your enrollment deposit sooner rather than later! Here are just a few:
Students enroll in classes during their New Sooner Orientation (NSO) day, which takes place over the summer. New Sooner Orientation is the first step in the orientation process for every new student's successful transition to OU. Before students can schedule a NSO day, they must submit their enrollment deposit.
To complete your housing contract, your first step is to set up your OU account by visiting one.ou.edu/activate. Once your account is set up, you can complete the housing contract by visiting OU Bound. If you complete a housing contract and submit your enrollment deposit by May 1, you can participate in room selection. Housing room selection access times will be determined by your enrollment deposit date.
Every student is assigned an OU Admissions Counselor based on your school. Your admissions counselor is here to help you explore academic options and answer any application or post-admission questions you and your family have. Connect with your Admissions Counselor today.
