The University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy is committed to the education of professional and graduate students who, upon graduation, can meet the public need for safe and effective pharmaceutical care. The College of Pharmacy offers the opportunity to focus Pharm.D. electives into a degree option or specialty track in Ambulatory Care, Leadership, Nuclear Pharmacy, Pediatrics, or Research. We are the only college of pharmacy in the United States to offer a fully operational nuclear pharmacy directly on our campus.

Pharmacists are the medication experts on the health care team and often the most accessible health care professional for the general public. 98% of College Pharmacy graduates employment or postgraduate training within 12 months of graduation. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the mean pay for a pharmacist in Oklahoma is $116,450 per year.

I chose to study Pharmacy on the OU Health Sciences Campus because it is an environment to foster positive and lasting friendships. This campus creates opportunities to interact with other healthcare professionals on the campus.

PharmD Early Assurance Pathways

The PharmD Early Assurance Program (PEAP) provides a path for high school students who are highly motivated toward the pharmacy profession and are focused, committed, and determined to succeed in achieving their goals in a shorter timeframe.
